Emerald have had a local presence in Singapore for over four years now, focusing on supporting some of the most innovative and disruptive vendors in the APAC region across all of our technology verticals.
My overall responsibility for heading up our International Markets means that I have the pleasure of visiting our office here regularly. As well as spending some quality time with our team, it’s a fantastic opportunity to meet some of our customers and soak up the culture – including sampling some local delicacies!
I’m in town this week to support our office move from our previous base in Clarke Quay to the prestigious City Hall area. We’ve decided to move into a ‘Spaces’ building; a brand which sits under the Regus umbrella but is far less corporate, offering a creative working environment with a unique entrepreneurial spirit that is evident from the moment you enter.
Working practices in the technology market have undergone a tremendous period of transition over the past five years, with companies increasingly seeking to create a more casual setting and offer flexibility and accountability to their employees.
If our clients are moving in this direction, why shouldn’t Emerald do the same?
Though we’re only in our first few days, the team are already buzzing about their new surroundings – and I’m sure you’ll see why from the pictures!
We’re looking forward to the networking opportunities the move will bring, as well as welcoming candidates and clients alike to our new home.
